Years ago, I had a picture of this event. At the time I was in a bad situation. And looking at the fact that Joseph, Mary and Baby Jesus were in a bad situation and how they handled it ( just took what they absolutely needed and left the area/country and relied on God for protection ). This example was what encouraged me to do the same. Now every time I look at this statue I feel a calm strength.
