YOU ARE THE LGHT OF THE WORLD

This motu proprio, written as a personal response from the Holy Father to questions or petitions from individuals or groups, summons the Church to accountability and transparency to address the issue of sexual abuse. Vos Estis Lux Mundi calls for new rules and policies to fight sexual abuse; speaks to the need to hold all Church personnel, regardless of office, to the same policies, procedures, and sanctions; and advocates for the protection of all people served by the Church.
